How to use an organic fertilizer flipper to produce pig manure organic fertilizer

Pig manure is a commonly used organic fertilizer raw material, which is fermented to become a high-quality organic fertilizer with a wide range of uses. However, using natural fermentation pig manure to make organic fertilizer takes 1-3 months, which makes friends who want to make their own organic fertilizer stay away. For this issue, organic fertilizer flipping and throwing machine equipment has emerged. Using the flipping and throwing machine to produce organic fertilizer can shorten the time to less than one month. So how can we use the organic fertilizer flipping and throwing machine to produce pig manure organic fertilizer?

Method for producing pig manure organic fertilizer using an organic fertilizer flipper:

1. Preparation and adding bacteria: Prepare the feces that need to be fermented, preferably fresh pig feces (the fermentation effect of fresh feces is better than that of old feces), such as adding 0.25 kilograms of pig manure fermentation agent to about 1 ton of fresh pig feces. First, mix the pig manure starter with rice bran (or corn flour, wheat bran) in a ratio of 1:5~10 for standby.

2. Pig manure pile construction: Build a pile of prepared pig manure while spreading bacteria. The height and volume of the pile should not be too short or too small. Requirements: the pile height should be 1.5 to 2 meters, the width should be 2 meters, and the length should be unlimited.

3. Adjust moisture. The moisture content of fermented pig manure should be controlled between 40-65%. Moisture judgment: Grasp a handful of pig manure tightly, see watermarks on the fingertips but do not drip, and it is advisable to scatter it upon landing. Less water leads to slow fermentation, and more water leads to poor ventilation, which can also cause “spoilage bacteria” to work and produce a foul odor. Therefore, it is important to control the moisture content.

4. Starting temperature. The starting temperature should be above 15 ℃, which is suitable for operation in all seasons and not affected by the season. In winter, it is recommended to ferment indoors or in a greenhouse, and the fermentation temperature should be controlled below 70-75 ℃.

5. Mix well and ventilate. Pig manure fermentation agents require aerobic fermentation, therefore, during the operation process, oxygen supply measures should be increased to achieve mixing, flipping, and aeration. Otherwise, it will cause anaerobic fermentation and produce a foul odor, which will affect the fertilizer effect.

6. Fermentation completed. Generally, after 48 hours of pig manure accumulation, the temperature rises to 50-60 ℃, and can reach over 65 ℃ on the third day. At this high temperature, the pile needs to be turned over once. Generally, there will be two times of high temperatures above 65 ℃ during the fermentation process. Turning over the pile twice can complete the fermentation, and it can be completed within a normal week. The material appears black brown and the temperature begins to drop to room temperature, indicating the completion of fermentation.
