Application of Organic Fertilizer Drum Granulator in Processing Compound Fertilizer

The drum granulator is one of the key equipment in the compound fertilizer industry, suitable for cold and hot granulation as well as large-scale production of high, medium and low concentration compound fertilizers. The main working method is wet granulation of pellets. By using a certain amount of water or steam, the basic fertilizer is fully chemically reacted in the cylinder after being humidified. Under certain liquid phase conditions, with the help of the rotational motion of the cylinder, the material particles are compressed and agglomerated into balls.

The organic fertilizer drum granulator is a commonly used granulation equipment in the production of compound fertilizers, organic fertilizers, biological fertilizers, controlled release fertilizers, and other fertilizers. It is suitable for cold and hot granulation as well as large-scale production of high, medium, and low concentration compound fertilizers.

The organic fertilizer drum granulator adopts a special rubber plate lining or acid resistant stainless steel lining plate for the barrel body. The machine has the characteristics of high ball forming strength, good appearance quality, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, low energy consumption, long service life, and convenient operation and maintenance. Steam, gas ammonia, or the addition of phosphoric acid or nitrogen solution, phosphorus ammonia slurry, and heavy calcium slurry are introduced into the drum granulator to complete the chemical reaction and heating process of compound fertilizer granulation inside the drum; Alternatively, a cold granulation process for adding a small amount of water to the compound fertilizer can be carried out. The materials that need to be granulated are rotated through the cylinder, causing rolling rotation when the cylinder is empty. They then aggregate into balls at a certain humidity and temperature to complete the granulation process.
